Known for its historic architecture and proximity to Griffith Park, Los Feliz has an artsy yet refined flair that makes it one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Los Angeles. Its many boutique shops and eateries project a youthful vitality that is at once hip and approachable. Locals spend their weekends hanging out on bustling Hillhurst Avenue, seeing a movie at the quaint single-screen Vista theater or venturing into Griffith Park for some of the best hiking and scenic vistas that Los Angeles has to offer.
Most of the homes in Los Feliz were built between the two World Wars, and have been pristinely preserved. The neighborhood is also home to some of the city’s most iconic architecture, particularly the Ennis and Hollyhock Houses by Frank Lloyd Wright and the Lovell House by Richard Neutra. This architectural pedigree has drawn many celebrities to the large lots on the neighborhood’s north side, in the foothills of Griffith Park, for years.
